 1. Letters Program: Added a new feature to all letters. You can now establish a link to a folder on your computer. One use of this feature is to save numerous photos in a folder on your computer and to create a link to the folder instead of injecting individual photos. Please make sure your backup includes this folder as it is a link and not injected into Risdoc.

2. Risdesk: Added a Manager Login and added additional information for the manager to view.

3. Renewal Lease Printing: Added an option to print PDF Renewal Leases directly using Adobe without having to preview and then print. This should be used ONLY if the default option is not working. To switch on this feature: More Utilities – PDF Settings.

4. Charge Codes Report: Added new report.

 1. Rent Stabilization New Guidelines: RIS added a new 2-tier successive rent increase selection to the Property Renewal Percentage program. Please follow the instructions on our help website for details [Tenant Information – Renewal Percentages].

2. Rent Stabilization Renewal Leases and Riders: There are new Renewal Leases and Riders dated March 2023. Please use the new files that are included in your templates. For the NYC and ETPA Renewal Leases, you should change the Lease Type selection in Property-Renewal Lease Percentages. Replace the 2022 form with the 2023 form.

3. Data Encryption: Added encryption of tenant Social Security Numbers and tenant ACH information. This was done to secure this information from hackers gaining access to your computer. For more information, visit our help website [Utilities – Security].

4. Tenant Bills: Added a bill type named Applied Summary. This bill type will list all open invoices and the balances due. You must check the box “Eliminate Zero Balances” on the Tenant Applied Summary Report form once. To print the bills, proceed like printing other bills but you must use new Plain Paper Extended rent bill form.

5. RPIE Export: A new commercial spreadsheet was added to replace the former spreadsheet. Also please note that the Residential spreadsheet requires a number in the months vacant. The RIS program enters a zero.

6. Email Program: Added a feature to use BCC to batch notices to enable email blasts to residents in 1 selected property using one email instead of multiple emails.

7. Payment Portal Import Screen: Added a new selection for importing from Zego/Paylease and Clickpay. You can restrict viewing open invoices to only those cases where there is an open invoice for billing codes you select. 1. Letter Field Codes: Added another Field Code:  Tenant One Month Statement (R2MSCR)

2. Vendor 1099-NEC: Added an export to excel for use with efile4biz.com.

3. Work Orders & Repairs: Added filters, sorts/selections and searches to the various screens.

4. Rent Stabilization Rider: Added new 2022 Rent Stabilization Riders in pdf format. There are separate Riders for Applicants with new leases and Tenants renewing leases. We named them: RS RIDER 2022 APPLIC (use in applicant menu); RS RIDER 2022 TENANT (use in tenant menu after you enter new lease dates); RS RIDR EPTA 2022 AP (use in applicant menu); RS RIDR EPTA 2022 T/ (use in tenant menu after you enter new lease dates); RSRIDR NYC 2022RENW (use in renewal menu); RSRIDR ETPA 2022RENW (use in renewal menu).

5. Ebalance Program: Added additional import to accommodate Orange Bank and Signature Bank csv files. Instructions for the ebalance program are on www.risassist.com.

6. Balance Sheet Report: Modified Balance Sheet Report to add net balances to each title account subtotal and add total assets/liabilities+capital at end.

7. Bilcode Balance Due: Added to the button on the Tenant Ledger Page an option to display overpayments as well as balances due.

8. Lock Box Import: Added importation of check numbers if the check numbers are included in the importation file.

9. Rent Roll Report: Fixed an error in subreport “Additional Room/Status Code Analysis.”

10. Bank Reconciliation: Added a password to protect accidentally deleting a bank statement date. Also added a choice to include/exclude documents attached to the bank statement when exporting the bank reconciliation report to pdf.

11. Tenant Statement: Add an option to include deposit comment to the report.

12. Renewal Lease Information: Added a utility to bring forward renewal lease information from the prior year to the current year when users inadvertently updated the prior year’s data for a tenant after creating the next year’s data. (Only brings forward lease start and end dates, and recurring charges if the lease start and end dates in the prior year are later than the lease start and end dates in the current year.)
